Game 1 versus Coweta
Piedmont Varsity Wildcats snatched the lead late in the game in a 3-1 victory over Coweta Tigers Varsity on Saturday. The game was tied at one with Piedmont Varsity Wildcats batting in the top of the sixth when Weston Thomas singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Game 2 versus Collinsville
Piedmont Varsity Wildcats fell 8-2 to Collinsville Varsity Cardinals on Saturday despite out-hitting them six to four.
The Piedmont Varsity Wildcats struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Collinsville Varsity Cardinals, giving up eight runs.
Piedmont Varsity Wildcats got things started in the first inning. Dax Priddy grounded out, scoring one run.
In the top of the second inning, Collinsville Varsity Cardinals tied things up at two. Owen Eubanks drew a walk, scoring one run.
Collinsville Varsity Cardinals pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Kaden Rush singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.
