Blue Takes Victory Over Kingfisher JV

Piedmont Junior Varsity Wildcats scores more runs than Kingfisher JV, takes victory on Thursday to the tune of  6-4.

Kingfisher JV opened up scoring in the first inning.  An error scored one run for Kingfisher JV.

After Kingfisher JV scored one run in the top of the fourth, Piedmont Junior Varsity Wildcats answered with one of their own.  Piedmont Junior Varsity Wildcats then answered when Dylan Zerger singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

Piedmont Junior Varsity Wildcats pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning.  In the third Xane Crawford grounded out, scoring one run, Ty Bohuslavicky doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run, and John Whetter grounded out, scoring one run.

Tyler Christensen led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Piedmont Junior Varsity Wildcats. Christensen surrendered one run on five hits over two innings, striking out one and walking zero.

#29 was on the pitcher’s mound for Kingfisher JV. The pitcher surrendered six runs on five hits over six innings, striking out seven.

Jackson Elliott went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Piedmont Junior Varsity Wildcats in hits.
Kingfisher JV totaled eight hits in the game.  #5 and #31 each had multiple hits for Kingfisher JV.
