Versus Oklahoma Christian School

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats defeated Oklahoma Christian Saints Varsity 4-2 on Friday.

Oklahoma Christian Saints Varsity fired up the offense in the second inning.

Jackson Harriger got the win for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats. Harriger lasted five innings, allowing six hits and one run while striking out two and walking zero.

Jackson Hill took the loss for Oklahoma Christian Saints Varsity. The bulldog surrendered four runs on six hits over five innings, striking out six and walking one.

Cole Girard started the game for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats. The pitcher surrendered one run on zero hits over two innings, striking out one

Jacob Anglin, Weston Thomas, Fidel Hatch, Dax Priddy, Trey Migl, Gabe Clyden, and Noah Smith each collected one hit to lead Piedmont Varsity Wildcats.

Oklahoma Christian Saints Varsity racked up six hits.  Gage Gilchrist and Garrett Wilson each racked up multiple hits for Oklahoma Christian Saints Varsity.

Versus Noble

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats stole the lead late in the game in a 6-3 victory over Noble Bears Varsity on Saturday.  The game was tied at three with Piedmont Varsity Wildcats batting in the bottom of the fifth when Dax Priddy grounded out, scoring one run.

Jacob Nieuwenhuis got the win for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats. The righty went one and one-third innings, allowing zero runs on one hit and walking one.  Ethan Nawaz threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.  Nawaz recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats.

Wilson took the loss for Noble Bears Varsity. The bulldog went five innings, allowing six runs on seven hits and striking out five.

Jordan Askren started the game for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats. The pitcher lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and three runs while striking out five.

Logan Hill went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Piedmont Varsity Wildcats in hits.
