Caleb Lunnon shut down El Reno Varsity Indians, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Piedmont Varsity Wildcats to a 6-0 victory on Monday.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats was boosted by Cole Riggs who went 4-for-4 at the plate.  Riggs singled in the first, singled in the third, singled in the fifth, and singled in the sixth.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats put up three runs in the sixth inning.  Cole Girard, Fidel Hatch, and Weston Thomas each had RBIs in the big inning.

A single by Palmer Ellis in the third inning was positive for El Reno Varsity Indians.

Lunnon was the winning pitcher for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats. Lunnon surrendered zero runs on six hits over seven innings, striking out nine and walking one.

Gabe Compton took the loss for El Reno Varsity Indians. The righty allowed 12 hits and six runs over six innings, striking out two and walking one.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats racked up 12 hits in the game.  Riggs, Girard, Hatch, and Thomas all had multiple hits for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats.  Riggs went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Piedmont Varsity Wildcats in hits.

Compton led El Reno Varsity Indians with two hits in four at-bats.
