Piedmont Wildcats Blue defeated Shawnee Wolves JV 9-1 on Thursday thanks to five runs in the first inning.  The rally was led by doubles by Nic Elmhorst and Ty Bohuslavicky, a triple by Jackson Califano, and an error on a ball put in play by Andrew Goff.

Piedmont Wildcats Blue opened up scoring in the first inning.  Piedmont Wildcats Blue scored one run when Elmhorst doubled.

Brayden Johnson pitched Piedmont Wildcats Blue to victory. The bulldog surrendered zero runs on zero hits over three innings, striking out five.  Jacob Boesch threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Piedmont Wildcats Blue tallied nine hits in the game.  Elmhorst and Bohuslavicky each racked up multiple hits for Piedmont Wildcats Blue.  Elmhorst led Piedmont Wildcats Blue with three hits in three at-bats.
