Blue Split with Enid

Game 1

Piedmont Wildcats Blue stayed in it until the end, but Enid JV pulled away late in a 12-9 victory on Tuesday.  Enid JV was down 6-4 in the top of the sixth inning when #13 doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring three runs.

Piedmont Wildcats Blue collected ten hits and Enid JV had 11 in the high-scoring affair.
Enid JV got things started in the first inning when #12 singled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring one run.

Piedmont Wildcats Blue notched four runs in the fourth inning.  The offensive firepower by Piedmont Wildcats Blue was led by Cole Pruitt, Nic Elmhorst, and Ty Bohuslavicky, all driving in runs in the inning.
#9 was on the hill for Enid JV. The hurler went three and two-thirds innings, allowing four runs on seven hits and striking out four.

Pruitt was on the mound for Piedmont Wildcats Blue. The bulldog surrendered three runs on four hits over one inning, striking out one and walking zero.  Noah Aller, Xane Crawford, Brayden Johnson, and Elmhorst each entered the game as relief, throwing two innings, one inning, one inning, and one inning respectively.

Piedmont Wildcats Blue saw the ball well today, racking up ten hits in the game.  Pruitt, Johnson, Jackson Elliott, and Elmhorst all managed multiple hits for Piedmont Wildcats Blue.  Elmhorst, Elliott, Johnson, and Pruitt each collected two hits to lead Piedmont Wildcats Blue.

Enid JV collected 11 hits on the day.  #11, #1, and #10 each managed multiple hits for Enid JV.  #11 led Enid JV with three hits in three at-bats.

Game 2

Piedmont Wildcats Blue stole the lead late in the game in an 8-3 victory over Enid JV on Wednesday.  The game was tied at two with Piedmont Wildcats Blue batting in the bottom of the fifth when Xane Crawford doubled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring one run.

In the top of the fourth inning, Enid JV tied things up at two when #3 doubled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring one run.

Piedmont Wildcats Blue scored three runs in the sixth inning.  Rhyder Dreschler, Crawford, and Jackson Elliott all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Rance Proctor led things off on the mound for Piedmont Wildcats Blue. The fireballer lasted four innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out two.

#20 started the game for Enid JV. The pitcher allowed zero hits and two runs over four innings, striking out four.  #26 threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Crawford went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Piedmont Wildcats Blue in hits.
