Blue too much for Guthrie JV

Piedmont Wildcats Blue’s two pitchers didn’t allow a single hit, as Piedmont Wildcats Blue defeated Guthrie JV 11-1 on Wednesday. Noah Aller induced a fly-out from #2 to get the last out of the game.
Piedmont Wildcats Blue secured the victory thanks to six runs in the third inning.  The big inning was thanks to walks by John Whetter and Cole Pruitt and singles by Xane Crawford and Rhyder Dreschler.

Pruitt got the win for Piedmont Wildcats Blue. The ace lasted three innings, allowing zero hits and one run while striking out eight and walking one.  Aller threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

#17 led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Guthrie JV. undefined went two and two-thirds innings, allowing eight runs on three hits and striking out four.  #9 and #14 entered the game as relief, throwing one inning and one-third of an inning respectively.

Trevor Tewell, Crawford, Dreschler, and Pruitt each collected one hit to lead Piedmont Wildcats Blue.
