A run here and a run there helped propel Piedmont Varsity Wildcats to a big win over Lawton Mac on Thursday, 10-1.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats fired up the offense in the second inning.  Jackson Harriger tripled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Cole Girard took the win for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats. Girard surrendered one run on two hits over five innings, striking out six.  Ethan Nawaz threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Boux DeLong led things off on the hill for Lawton Mac. DeLong allowed eight hits and six runs over five innings, striking out four.  ##8 threw two innings out of the bullpen.

Harriger led Piedmont Varsity Wildcats with two hits in three at-bats.

Lawton Mac was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Julian Love made the most plays with eight.
