Piedmont Varsity Wildcats nabbed the lead late in the game in a 5-2 victory over Carl Albert on Tuesday. 

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats was down 2-1 in the top of the seventh inning when Trey Migl doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring three runs.

Fidel Hatch earned the win for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats. The right-hander lasted seven innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out nine and walking one.

Luke Stout took the loss for Carl Albert. The bulldog lasted one-third of an inning, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out one.

Samuel Gonzalez started the game for Carl Albert. The hurler lasted four innings, allowing six hits and one run while striking out five.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats racked up ten hits in the game.  Logan Hill, Migl, and Dax Priddy all had multiple hits for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats.  Hill led Piedmont Varsity Wildcats with three hits in four at-bats.
