Piedmont Varsity Wildcats’s three pitchers didn’t allow a single hit, as Piedmont Varsity Wildcats defeated Guymon Tigers Varsity 17-0 on Thursday. Jackson Califano induced a groundout from #33 to get the last out of the game.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats secured the victory thanks to 13 runs in the first inning.  Piedmont Varsity Wildcats batters contributing to the big inning included Noah Smith, Jakeb Koop, Jackson Harriger, Weston Thomas, Logan Hill, and  Dalton Hampton, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

In the first inning, Piedmont Varsity Wildcats got their offense started when Hill singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

Koop led things off on the hill for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats. The pitcher went three innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out six, and walking zero.
