Piedmont Varsity Wildcats’s three pitchers didn’t allow a single hit, as Piedmont Varsity Wildcats defeated Southeast Spartans Varsity 16-0 on Monday.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats got on the board in the first inning when Perez threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats put up five runs in the second inning.  Piedmont Varsity Wildcats’ offense in the inning was led by Cole Girard, Luke Hill, Dalton Hampton, and Logan Hill, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Girard was on the mound for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats. The pitcher went two innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits and striking out six.

Perez was on the pitcher’s mound for Southeast Spartans Varsity. Perez allowed ten runs on five hits.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats tallied two home runs on the day. Noah Smith went for the long ball in the first inning. Girard put one out in the second inning.

Weston Thomas, Cole Pruitt, Hill, Luke Hayes, Jackson Harriger, Hill, Girard, and Smith each collected one hit to lead Piedmont Varsity Wildcats.
