Piedmont Varsity Wildcats cruised to an easy victory over Calumet Chieftains Varsity 8-1 on Saturday

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats fired up the offense in the second inning.  Piedmont Varsity Wildcats scored one run when Noah Smith doubled.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats put up three runs in the fifth inning.  Piedmont Varsity Wildcats’ big bats were led by Smith, Dalton Hampton, and Jakeb Koop, who all drove in runs.

Jackson Califano was on the mound for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats. The lefty allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out five.

Smith led Piedmont Varsity Wildcats with two hits in three at-bats.  Piedmont Varsity Wildcats was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Hampton had the most chances in the field with seven.
