Piedmont Varsity Wildcats quickly dispatched Del City Varsity 13-3 on Monday

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats tallied five runs in the seventh inning.  The offensive onslaught came from doubles by Logan Hill, Cole Girard, and Dalton Hampton, a groundout by Brayden Johnson, and an error on a ball put in play by Nicholas Elmhorst.

Jakeb Koop got the start for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats. The righty surrendered three runs on four hits over seven innings, striking out ten and walking one.

Kale Standifer toed the rubber for Del City Varsity. Standifer allowed six hits and seven runs over five and third innings, striking out seven.  George Goudsby threw one and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats smacked two home runs on the day. Noah Smith had a long ball in the sixth inning. Weston Thomas put one out in the third inning.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats had 13 hits in the game.  Smith, Hampton, and Luke Hill each racked up multiple hits for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats.  Hill, Hampton, and Smith each collected two hits to lead Piedmont Varsity Wildcats.
