Piedmont Varsity Wildcats easily dispatched Guthrie Varsity Bluejays 10-1 on Tuesday

In the first inning, Piedmont Varsity Wildcats got their offense started.  Logan Hill grounded out, scoring two runs.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats put up four runs in the fourth inning.  Luke Hill, Reid Smith, and Weston Thomas each had RBIs in the big inning.

Jackson Califano took the win for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats. The lefty lasted four and third innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out six.  Noah Aller threw two and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Luke Hubbard took the loss for Guthrie Varsity Bluejays. The right-hander surrendered seven runs on four hits over five innings, striking out eight.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats tallied eight hits in the game.  Noah Smith and Dalton Hampton each collected multiple hits for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats.  Hampton and Smith all had two hits to lead Piedmont Varsity Wildcats.
