Caleb Lunnon shut down Eisenhower Varsity Eagles, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Piedmont Varsity Wildcats to a 10-0 victory on Thursday.
Piedmont Varsity Wildcats jumped out to an early lead over Santa Fe South Saints Varsity and took home a 12-1 victory on Thursday. Piedmont Varsity Wildcats scored on a single by Gabe Clyden, a single by Trey Migl, and a triple by Noah Smith in the first inning.
Piedmont Varsity Wildcats defeated Chandler Varsity Lions 10-0 on Monday as six pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Weston Thomas induced a fly-out from Dalton Fowble to finish off the game.
In order for each individual player and our program to improve, it is imperative that players play summer baseball. The additional experience gained is vital to the success of this program. Each player that plans on playing in the spring of 2022 is expected to play in the summer.
High School Information
We will have two teams V and JV. Summer baseball will only be offered to those that played spring baseball. We will use the spring 2021 season to determine who will make the summer rosters.
Teams will be coached by current Piedmont HS baseball coaches and college baseball players/former Wildcat players.
All games will only be played on Monday – Wednesday.
DH will be played every Mon, Tues, Wed = 6 games/per week.
The Varsity will be playing in the OK College Series. We will play at a different college every Tuesday (there is one date on a Wednesday). We will play one 7-inning game on those days (there is one exception, we will play a DH at NWOSU). The colleges we will play at include Rose State, NWOSU, Redlands, NOC Enid, and NOC Tonkawa.
Thursday – Sunday is open for travel ball, vacations, jobs, etc.
The season will be 6 weeks long = 25+ games.
Games may start on May 23rd and will go on until June 29th.
Each player will be provided with a Dri-Fit Jersey included with the fee.
Varsity will swing wood on Red Dirt League games and metal in the College Series. The JV will primarily swing metal.
Middle School Information
We will have two teams, a 9th and 8th-grade team. Summer ball will only be offered to those that played spring baseball. Teams will be coached by current Piedmont HS baseball coaches and college baseball players/former Wildcat players.
All games will be played Monday – Wednesday.
The season will be 6 weeks long = 25+ games.
Games may start on May 23rd and will go on until June 29th.
Each player will be provided with a Dri Fit Jersey included with the fee.
Payment Information
Cost = $300. Cash or Check is accepted. Please make checks out to Piedmont Baseball.
$100 deposit must be paid by May 20th.
All summer fees from previous summers must be paid off in order to play.
Everyone must be paid in full by the end of the summer season.
Payments can start being paid now for the high school teams. If your child is in middle school please don’t send payment until teams are made. We will let the middle school know when it is okay to pay.

Both pitching staffs had their hands full on Saturday in a high-scoring affair where Piedmont Varsity Wildcats bested Putnam City North Panthers Varsity, 18-6.
Piedmont Wildcats Blue weathered a scare by Southmoore SaberCats JV Gold in the fourth inning where Piedmont Wildcats Blue coughed up four runs, but Piedmont Wildcats Blue still won 12-4 on Friday.
Piedmont Varsity Wildcats lost the lead late in an 8-3 defeat to Deer Creek Antlers Varsity on Thursday. The game was tied at three with Deer Creek Antlers Varsity batting in the top of the fifth when Brady Hamilton singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
Both teams were strong on the pitcher’s mound Thursday, but Piedmont Varsity Wildcats defeated Deer Creek Antlers Varsity 3-2. Piedmont Varsity Wildcats pitchers allowed just six hits to Deer Creek Antlers Varsity.
Monday’s game against Carl Albert was a heartbreaker for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats, as they lost the lead late in a 4-3 defeat. The game was tied at three with Carl Albert batting in the top of the ninth when Fidel Hatch induced Brodie Hinson to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.
Piedmont Wildcats Blue defeated Bridge Creek JV 8-0 on Saturday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Jacob Boesch induced a groundout from #23 to finish off the game.
Piedmont Varsity Wildcats stayed in it until the end, but Duncan Demons Varsity pulled away late in a 7-3 victory on Saturday. The game was tied at two with Duncan Demons Varsity batting in the top of the seventh when Kenny Garland singled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs.
Friday’s game against Noble Bears Varsity was a heartbreaker for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats, as they lost the lead late in a 4-2 defeat. The game was tied at two with Noble Bears Varsity batting in the top of the sixth when Ethan Nawaz induced Lovell to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.
Piedmont Wildcats Blue defeated Bishop McGuinness Junior Varsity Irish 8-4 on Wednesday. Piedmont Wildcats Blue opened up scoring in the first inning. Jackson Elliott drove in one when Elliott singled.
Piedmont Varsity Wildcats watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 9-3 loss to Bishop McGuinness Varsity Irish on Tuesday. Bishop McGuinness Varsity Irish scored on an error in the first inning, a single by Brett Jacobs in the first inning, a groundout by Augusto Schroeder in the second inning, and a double by Dax Joyce in the second inning.
Piedmont Varsity Wildcats weathered a scare by Bishop McGuinness Varsity Irish in the second inning where Piedmont Varsity Wildcats coughed up three runs, but Piedmont Varsity Wildcats still won 16-5 on Monday. Augusto Schroeder and Dax Joyce all drove in runs in the frame.
Piedmont Wildcats Blue’s two pitchers didn’t allow a single hit, as Piedmont Wildcats Blue defeated Guthrie JV 11-1 on Wednesday. Noah Aller induced a fly-out from #2 to get the last out of the game. Piedmont Wildcats Blue secured the victory thanks to six runs in the third inning. The big inning was thanks to walks by John Whetter and Cole Pruitt and singles by Xane Crawford and Rhyder Dreschler. Piedmont Wildcats Blue notched six runs in the third inning.
