Wildcats Fall Short Against the Vikings
Piedmont Varsity Wildcats fought back after falling down by six runs in the sixth inning. The comeback fell just short though, in a 9-7 defeat to St. Laurence Vikings Varsity Baseball on Thursday. Piedmont Varsity Wildcats scored four runs in the failed comeback on a home run by Trey Migl and a home run by Jackson Harriger.

Wildcats Move to 4-0 in District Play
It was a cold evening at F&M Bank Stadium where the Piedmont Wildcats hosted Southeast High. Piedmont was patient at the plate and put together several hits throughout the night scoring 15 runs in each of the games.
With these two wins, Piedmont moves to 9-1 on the season and 4-0 in district play leading Class 5A District 1.
