Piedmont Varsity Wildcats coasted to an easy victory over MacArthur Varsity Highlanders 11-1 on Friday

MacArthur Varsity Highlanders got things started in the first inning. Rhett Vaughan drove in one when Vaughan singled.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third, an error scored one run for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats and an error scored one run for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats put up five runs in the fifth inning. Piedmont Varsity Wildcats’s big bats in the inning were led by doubles by Reid Smith and Jackson Harriger, a single by Luke Hill, and an error on a ball put in play by Cole Girard.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats earned the victory despite allowing Santa Fe South Saints Varsity to score six runs in the third inning.  Joaquin Villa, Javier Duran,  Juan Dominguez, Josue Rivera, and Isaac Olivas each had RBIs in the frame.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats had all cylinders firing on offense on Friday, winning big over MacArthur Varsity Highlanders 9-3

J Arnold was on the pitcher’s mound for Sand Springs Sandites Varsity. The fireballer allowed one hit and one run over one inning, striking out two and walking zero.

C Graham had the most chances in the field with 12.

On Saturday, Piedmont Varsity Wildcats snagged a late lead and defeated Norman North Timberwolves Varsity 4-1.  The game was tied at one with Piedmont Varsity Wildcats batting in the top of the sixth when Ethen Swenson induced Jakeb Koop to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.

Loyd went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Edmond Memorial Varsity Bulldogs in hits.  Edmond Memorial Varsity Bulldogs didn’t commit a single error in the field. Jacob Williams had ten chances in the field, the most on the team.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats seized victory in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple Carl Albert.  The game was tied at 12 with Piedmont Varsity Wildcats batting in the bottom of the seventh when Logan Hill singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Jakeb Koop led Piedmont Varsity Wildcats to victory by driving in four runs.  Koop went 2-for-3 at the plate.  Koop drove in runs on a double in the third and a single in the fourth.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats defeated Bishop McGuinness Varsity Irish 6-0 on Tuesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Noah Aller induced a double-play from Keller Anderson to finish off the game.

A walk-off triple propelled Piedmont Varsity Wildcats to a decisive, dramatic victory over Bishop McGuinness Varsity Irish, 8-7.  The game was tied at seven with Piedmont Varsity Wildcats batting in the bottom of the eighth when Weston Thomas tripled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Despite falling down by four runs in the third inning, Bishop McGuinness Varsity Irish tried to fight back.  Bishop McGuinness Varsity Irish scored seven runs in the failed comeback on a single by Damon Cochran in the fifth, an error in the fifth, a double by Cole Grundy in the sixth, a single by Jackson Cassil in the sixth, and a single by Brett Jacobs in the seventh.

The comeback fell just short though, in a 13-11 defeat to Deer Creek Antlers Varsity on Saturday.  Piedmont Varsity Wildcats scored ten runs in the failed comeback on a single by Jakeb Koop in the third, a single by Cole Girard in the third, a single by Reid Smith in the fourth, a home run by Koop in the seventh, and a home run by Jackson Harriger in the seventh.

The Piedmont Varsity Wildcats struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Salina Wildcats Varsity, giving up ten runs.

Logan Hill came to the ballpark and meant business on Friday, driving in four on three hits to lead Piedmont Varsity Wildcats past Edmond Santa Fe Varsity Wolves 11-4 on Friday.  Hill drove in runs on a double in the third and a double in the sixth.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats got on the board in the first inning when an error scored one run for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats scored three runs in the sixth inning.  Piedmont Varsity Wildcats’ offense in the inning was led by Hill and Brayden Johnson, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Noah Aller pitched Piedmont Varsity Wildcats to victory. The pitcher lasted five innings, allowing three hits and no earned runs while striking out six.  Cole Girard threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Jack led things off on the mound for Edmond Santa Fe Varsity Wolves. The hurler surrendered eight runs on 11 hits over four and a third innings, striking out one.  Hayden Towell and Easton entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one inning and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats defeated Del City Eagles Varsity 17-0 on Tuesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Cole Girard struck out Blake Barker to finish off the game.

Weston Thomas led Piedmont Varsity Wildcats to victory by driving in four runs.  Thomas went 3-for-3 at the plate.  Thomas drove in runs on a triple in the first and a home run in the third.

Luke Hill got busy on the basepaths on Monday, knocking four hits in Piedmont Varsity Wildcats’s 12-2 victory over El Reno Varsity Indians.  Hill singled in the first, doubled in the second, doubled in the fourth, and singled in the seventh.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats saw the ball well today, racking up 17 hits in the game.  Hill, Smith, Jackson Harriger, and Smith each racked up multiple hits for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats.  Hill went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Piedmont Varsity Wildcats in hits.  Piedmont Varsity Wildcats tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Hill led the way with three.

Saturday’s game against Life Prep Varsity Fire was a heartbreaker for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats, as they lost the lead late in an 8-7 defeat.  The game was tied at seven with Life Prep Varsity Fire batting in the bottom of the fourth when Jacksenio De La Rosa singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats collected nine hits and Life Prep Varsity Fire had eight in the high-scoring affair.
